RTA Customer Happiness Center - Al Barsha

I went to the RTA happiness center in the morning to renew my license and the sweetest person was there to help me. Ms. Maryam Taher helped me in not only renewing my license but also in changing the picture and it only took a maximum of 10 minutes.
She was very helpful and kind!

Wanted to issue an international driving license, impossible to do it, the staff refused, saying they don’t do it, and they sent me to Emirates Motorsport Club.
I have Abu Dhabi driving license, called the RTA Customer service where they said many times I could do it at the RTA customer happiness center, arrived at the RTA Customer Happiness Center al barsha, surprised how they did not accept to do it and said they don’t do it.
So which information is correct? The Customer Service? Or the Happiness center

Disappointed.
I went there all the way to get the international driving license and when I arrived they said the system is down and it can't be printed today and on top of that they didn't had any information when the issue will be resolved.
If you are visiting the place for any services better call them before hand to avoid yourself trouble of driving all the way there.

I went yesterday to renew my license and to (change the picture) from it, the service was excellent at the entrance, mashAllah, except for the lady she was doing the process at the
(6) she was like bossing me which pic to keep on my license, she let the older and had to do it again she was asking for my private life like I went there to be interrogated, even questioning my husband that why he married me? Why he didn’t married a local lady? Why why why? Many questions, all this in Arabic she thought I didn’t understand, ya Allah she was kind of harassing and racist to my nationality! Astagfitullah she should limit herself to do her job and don’t interfere in the ppl private lives!

I received an international UAE driving license so that I could move freely while traveling. The whole process took about 10 minutes, including the queue. The dress code for girls is below the knees, covered shoulders.

Before I forget to do it, I have to report the bad behavior of an employee. I was in line, waiting for the user before me to finish at the driver's license check desk when an official lady came towards me in an aggressive and extremely arrogant tone, out of place and artificial and asked me stupid questions with an intimidating cadence (for example that the cost of converting the license was.saying it in a challenging tone.but who asked you? Who are you? How dare you?). Unfortunately I forgot to ask her name (I don't know if she is the coordinator, she seemed to want to do it)
I point it out because she was very annoying.
Instead the service is intuitive and fast, well organized.

We felt this is really an Hapiness center! Everyone nice, quick and efficient. However this review is not complete without mentioning the amazing Mr. Mansour Abdelaziz who went above and beyond to solve our problem and, at the same time, helping everyone else who addressed him. Patiently, nicely and with a smile. Thank you!

Came here at 650pm to get my Australian license converted to UAE license. Took 50 mins all up because of queues including an quick eye test (no line for this). Although I wasn’t in and out, the process was still seamless and customer service was good. I thought I had to bring a passport picture, but wasn’t needed in the end because they simply use your photo from your Emirates ID.

Extremely friendly and efficient service! Thank you so much for this experience. We would love to enjoy such service in Europe. You are so much better organized. Congratulations!

My scooter was empty battery, i got one taxi. Taxi stopped front me.he opened the trunk I put my scooter, I seat inside the taxi (front) seatbelt on, he asked me where to go I answered discovery gardens he didn’t reply and he was looking outside im thinking he might confuse and he didn’t know the location. But I was surprised he opened the window (my side) and he spoke another customer he asked her where you will go? I was inside seated and the lady answered airport. I was surprised to taxi driver. I been asked to go down I said No, and he said help me. And he opened his door he went out and opened the truck and took my scooter out and he put where the lady was standing and he took the lady stuff and he put inside the trunk and they leave. I am definitely knows that was big wrong and bad behavior I do understand that he needs big sales what so ever but come on if I’m not being seated my things was not inside your car yet for it fine no problem but my seatbelt was already on! And you will take another customer. Unbelievable. I don’t want anything I just want you to be aware that this kind of behavior is insisting and sadly one of your drivers has it.

You can check the cctv on your system as well.

RTA. It’s been 20+ years and you still don’t have a enough taxis at rugby 7s

Just been to the fanzone at the ampitheatre and you don’t have enough taxis here either.

Pre-planning is key! Shocking service.

I gotta admit that it was a good experience. I was changing my driving license and together with eye test, translation and giving me a new one took like 35 mins, cost something below 1500 Dhs.

Extremely rude behaviour from the lady at counter #2 on 25 Oct at 17.40. My number was flashing on the screen and she shouted at me saying she is dealing with another customer and why she would call my number. Then fix the number system, not shout! 1 star for the lady at the reception who was patient not only with me but everyone who comes through.

Just wow. I have never seen a better service in a government office anywhere else in the world.

Honestly speaking very disappointed with the service, they mislead me in regards to my car plate asking me to remove the plates and bring them there in order to change them. I've done that and actually everything is online. They waste my time with wrong informations and also I had to find a way to add back the plates as already I took them down. Will be better if everyone will give the same information to the clients.

I been there for my international driving license, it was so quick excellent service. You can apply online from RTA website and just go n collect from there. Only thing is parking might be little odd, when you follow map it leads you to dubai police facility which is wrong, just take round all the way to other side there is a parking lot. Park there and walk to the required department

RTA customer happiness service is the best, not taking even more then 5 minutes and renowned my licence by machine

Really excellent service! Mr. Jabber was super helpful and Adil who assisted me on the phone when I was struggling with the website followed up every step of the way to ensure that I got my UAE licence sorted. Cannot say how impressive this is. Also I could do my eye test then and there in the centre! 10/10 other countries could learn from this level of service

Received my stamped passport only a day after the appointment was given. When I came here they said I have to reschedule my appointment for biometrics. Despite informing the difficulty in having to travel all the way here and the fact that I was traveling overseas the same night they refused to take me. They also didn't let me stay inside while trying to reschedule. Said I had to wait outside (while it was burning hot). Had absolutely no remorse for my situation. Would give minus stars if I could as this was no fault on my part. Also no assistance to help me at all. Complete disregard for customer satisfaction by the man behind the counter and security guards.

Not sure how come they work there every day for many years and still don't know the process of renewing a license or removing the mortgage!
Their lack of knowledge/indifference & or mistake cost me 110 AED for absolutely no reason.

Good experience for renewal a driving licence, you will get a new licence within a 10 15minutes. Good service

The staff is really helpful. My driving ID was old so I was struggling to take quality pictures and they helped me l. Efficient processes it took me 30 min to do eye test and all formalities l.

They need to add more representatives in order for the queue to move faster. Many people are waiting in lines and the counter are not upto speed with the token numbers just adding up. The service is good and helpful but the speed is slow. Should improve this only otherwise a very helpful center

Everything is organised to a level that makes you love everything about this country. Literally, I spent 7 minutes since I entered the building till I finished and walked with my renewed DL.
The manager is not sitting on his chair; he circles all over the place, approaching everyone to facilitate their services. I hope someday my country will reach a similar level.

After reaching RTA you have to apply online.
Person at the counter does not understand, so transaction has to be redone.

I came to convert my license to UAE license, the service, atmosphere and staff are such wonderful and friendly, did not expect it to be high class and very smooth, i finished the whole thing from eye test to issuing UAE license in 5 minutes, I'm very impressed, reception at happy center are very supportive and helpful, you feel the welcome there, im speechless but thank you Dubai Gov and thank you RTA customer happiness center

It was a great experience to renew my driving license. Artificial intelligence is used promptly for customer service.

Came on working day, 30th and received information they are closed. "Come on Monday". I have work on Monday, why don't they even consider people have their own working hours? No respect to customers. Just wasted 1 hour in the middle of working day. And not only me, there was other frustrated people. This is not how "customer happiness center" should work.
The most funny thing that I came yesterday to check working hours on dedicated parking. There was sign with direction to Customer center, but no single note about not working on 30th. Rta want customers to call them every time before coming to check if random working day is not working for them?

What a service. I went there for driving licence renewal, and it was exactly take 5 minutes to get my licence renewed and get my licence physically in my hand. Wow. God bless dubai and the government of dubai. Awesome service. Al barsha RTA happiness centre. I went at 10 pm and came out with my licence by 10.08 pm.

Collected the replacement of my lost Driving License and got in 10 minutes (but it actually feels like 5 only).
