RTA Tasjeel Al Barsha Car Testing

Yesterday I registered my car through Ms. Wafaa Bastaki, she treated it us with a very high level of professionalism, and she assisted us a lot and made our experience very smooth and fast.

Pathetic service… such a big center but only two people for car registration… after hours waiting they called and the guy who handled my token…. He was not providing much information.no smile nothing… i asked him i need colored number plate and he told its expensive … it cost extra money.i told no problem.but still he selected normal long plate.when i came back to him, he told if need to change, i must again take a new token and come back which probably will take another couple of hours.i left the center and will go now to qusais where the service is excellent.

Worse place ever to register the cars worse everything I spent 4 Horus there and everyone makes u wait and doesn’t do the proper job correctly

The give preference to cars and other four wheelers.keeping bikers to wait in parking for hours token is of no use

Professional service. Got my vehicle passing, insurance and renewal done quickly and easily. Just a little waiting time for your turn at the smart teller to print the mulkiya. Overall, very good service.

Good and helping staff but you might want to avoid rush hours as may take upto hours to get the job done

The only problem they don’t have a separate motorcycle lane. Need to wait with the crowded cars.unless an employer will ask you to come in front.otherwise excellent service

I love this place. Very attentive. Give priority to ladies. They know the value of time of others.

It was a painless process to convert my South African driver's license to UAE. You can do an eye test there but I did mine beforehand. I was in and out in 15min.

I'm changing from 3 to 1 star.
Did comprehensive test and waited for 3 h to reach my turn.
Result was "gasket leak", nothing serious.
Today after 10 days, went to the service where they showed me problems on my car, not related to gasket leak! This is shame to get wrong results after paying for obviously nothing!

Your one star away from being the ultimate Tasjeel destination in my opinion.
Please add registration card printing machine such as the one available in Barsha.

Improved service over the years, much faster process and reduced waiting time.
Most of the services can be done on-line, even an e car registration card.
The only issue is that the self service machines do not print driver's licenses physical cards. For that you need to a different RTA office located in the police building. Which is not convenient at all.

So I went for the vehicle renewal testing at Tasjeel Al Barsha. I opted for non VIP services and it was quick and fast. There were as many as 8-10 active lanes in the center. You only need your vehicle registration card and the gentleman at the entrance provide you with a token. I also went for OBD scanning for additional AED 105. The report came in less than 20-30 minutes. You pay for the total charges, and provide the guy at the payment counter with your email ID and registered telephone number. In a matter of seconds you get the email from RTA. Overall it was quick and fast.

I have done comprehensive test (420AED) to get results before purchase car. Test shows minor lower gasket leak. Person who did test told me that car is ok and nothing to be worry about. I purchased a car. After 10 days, my car shows high temperature. At the service found out there’s no leak from mentioned gasket, but from coolant pipe and connectors broken. Bill for fixing was 2.000AED.
If there’s a 0 score I would give you for your unprofessional staff.

Is Convenient and staff is helpful however does not have an ATM inside despite having empty spots for ATMs

I used the VIP section. It is well organised and the waiting area was comfortable, clean and relaxing. The staff were formal in the way they deal with you. However, they are very professional, knowledgeable, quick and efficient. They are capable of explaining everything in simple language, they take care of every small detail, they are flexible in their approach, as they offer you the appropriate alternative if you arrived unprepared, and most importantly, they were willing to go the extra mile to help and to serve.

Best place for getting car plate number, they have best services, great staff and very professional, friendly and helpful. I finished everything with 30 minutes. What else one needs

I came here on 21 Dec 2021 to sell my car. It is not the first time I sell /transfer car ownership, but I just cane to know that now things are semi automated. When we take a queue number, they just send sms with transaction website URL to both buyer and seller. First, seller must upload the required documents (EID, car license), then buyer must also upload their EID, which can be taken using phone camera. Insurance must be already bought under new owner's name. When all completed, we just need to get the queue number for payment where the officer will also verify our IDs and then issue a new registration card. Buyer and seller needs to sign on e-document that will appear on their own phones. The process at the counter took only 10 minutes. Excellent service!

Waiting time was almost an hour and was not provided registration certificate.
It was still needed to be done online.

The opening time at 7am is very convinient. At this time there is no Hussle and you get to save time. The colleagues are very customer service oriented from the start at the gate to the assistant testing and Ms. Soraya as well who was very helpful. Would recommend the centre anytime

Amazing service. I wanted to get the Traffic Code number and what seemed to be a gigantic task was turned into a miniscule by the lady sitting at the counter. Amazing Amazing service. Was literally in and out!

Quick vehicle testing and registration. Was in and out within 20 minutes. A word of advice though, after your vehicle has been tested and test result received (AED. 170), use the RTA App to make the payment (approx. AED. 400 depending on vehicle type I guess) and complete the renewal. It's much quicker this way.

When renewed my registration paid with my home country card. Money gone but their machine declined the card. So more than 1000 lost because of incompetence and laziness of staff. Guy next to the payment machine answered “I don’t know” on any question. Guy on information counter - same. Obviously the management is the same if they accept such kind of work and ignore hundreds reviews and complaints. I wish them to have the same service everywhere they go.
I assume that I’m not the only one who lost money. And no one bothered to put information note about international credit card payment. Will have to claim a complaint in DED and other authorities.
Advantage- everything was fast.
Disadvantage-lazy incompetence staff that don’t bother too much about what is happening there saying to RTA support by phone

The place is very nice.they have improved allot.very polite pepole.and they always try there best to reduce the waiting time.

This is the biggest vehicle testing and registration centre in Dubai. They are available until 11-11: 30 pm in the night and they are very accommodating even at this hour

Very very very Rude staff at the VIP section, specially the Filipino lady at the reception VIP reception. They will treat you like they are doing a favour on you.

Car testing staff have strange kind of behavior, people inside for post testing, those Arab people, they are excellent, very good center overall

If you are in a hurry don't use the VIP service simply it’s a waste of your time and a waste of your money.

I was here for my vehicle licence renewal and all went smooth. It wasn't too busy and the whole process took 20 minutes or so.

They surprise me year after year. Service quality and speed is Fantastic! The staff there are really courteous and will go an extra mile if needed just to make sure that you accomplished what needs to be done in no time.

I gave 5 stars as I went there night time and glad they open late. It's very busy and stressful during the day you'll have to queue for a long time before you can even get to the security gate. After waiting long I U turned and came back at night

For renewing vehicle its very easy here
1. Take the token and test the car
2. Go inside and wait for your token and pay 170 drhm for the result. Its send to your mail id.
3. You can take insurance form inside axa is there and one more.
4. There is a mulkaya printing machine installed inside tasjeel. You can renew the mulkaya in 2 min and will get the card printed at same time tru vending machine.

Over all time is 1 hr for renewing the car

I have spend 3 to 4 hours and spent AED 420 for full inspection unfortunately wasted report was shown 2 faults and bought the vehicle and a week latter went for test at garage there was shown many fault an nearly need to spend 4K to 5k disappointment

Testing of vehicles and registration or transfer and registration very efficient. Ms Mazqouqi was very efficient and courteous. VIP service at an additional charve is available. Last but not the least if you have reached tasjeel and obtained vehicle insurance you can donit in the site which is very convenient for the visitors

The place opens at 8 am not 7 am. Even the morning started wrong as realised that had to wait for an hour.but friendly staff offered a coffee and been very polite. Also there’s self service machine where you can exchange the license, but I couldn’t make the new one using its service.

In and out in 20 minutes. The flow of the process could be made more obvious. Security guard on duty in main waiting area deserves a mention for being on top of any covid19 related issues such as mask and ensuring distancing rules were being observed.

It was rush free very swift and easy smart process experienced today while I went to renew the registration on my Nissan Patrol along with the renewal vehicle inspection test done.

Very bad and unskilled employees of vehicle testing.i bought a second hand car which is mercedes s63 from A showroom called Alain class motors the person who tested the car told me its perfect and i asked him to check the vibration on the car he said engine mounting and the car is perfect, when i went to check the car, after buying it lots of issues came out, engine mounts was broken air filter was cut, the 2 front suspension is damaged, oil and water leak from the engine.all this and he didn’t see it.i complain to RTA and they said its a private company who is testing the cars we cant help you, fixing the car cost me AED 45000 because of this guy who may also got a bribe

Excellent service only took 30 min for renewal of my mulukiya and car testing. Now there is 2 machine which will make u r new mulukiya and year sticker for your car with in 10 min.

The The place is good and the counter staff are distinguished and the service is fast, but there is a reception employee. I think she is not in the right place because of the bad manner of speaking and the lack of experience necessary for the customer to benefit, for example: (Where are the numbers of the car transferred from another city) knowing that there are no numbers because it is loaded for registration, as well as wasting time in asking The questions are not appropriate for the location of the receptionist, knowing that I advised my friend that this is the best place and actually it was so except for the receptionist who did not even allow us to give our evaluation of her poor service and talk badly to her colleague who was next to her when we went away from her.
I suggest that the service satisfaction inspector visit this place as being optimistic and evaluate the performance of the employee on the ground,

Was fast, no stickers anymore to put on your plate number. You test, pass, go home and finish the registration online.

I went with my friend to transfer his used car. He was charged 900 AED just for transferring the car.

Excellent service for all kind of Vehicle services, transfer car, export car, passing of vehicle, change number plates, transfer of plates from other emirates to dubai plates.

[COVID-19 visit] The place is clean, faster than most of Tasjeel branches (yet can be faster) and the social distancing is enforced. There's temperature checking at the entrance in addition to hand sanitizer and gloves.

Procedures that can be done online are denied to enter, so if you can do it online don't waste your time coming here.

From driving in and counter service is very efficient & fast. Please next time let us know where to collect the car key. It was not kept in the vehicle like earlier. Therefore 4 stars and not 5

Not organised. You will take at least 10 min6to find the entrance first of all. Lacking visual management.

Shocking experience, 20mins wait outside in 40c heat, only to be told I can’t come in because I do not need my original vehicle registration card, even though I received a telephone call to come and collect it. If you don’t need the registration cards now, why print them?

Today I had to return back to Abu Dhabi after its been closed when i reached there at 3: 45pm to collect my new no.plate and mulkiya. It was open when I had checked on its site. Time was 4 pm but closed at 3pm. Just a waste on two Salik, time and fuel as well. Very disappointed

It's great place to complete the car registration renewal and the machine of issue the new card saves lot of time and procedures.just pay the fee and in less than 30 second the new registration card issued and sticker also released thank you RTA

Fast and smooth process. Took me 20 minutes to convert my license to a UAE license (including eye test).

I visited the ٍTasjeel RTA Barsha centre yesterday and was very frustrated and disappointed with the customer service! Basically, I purchased a car emergency triangle and asked for product exchange (they sold me a broken one). The manager at the branch was very unhelpful and quick to dismiss me, rather than trying to understand the situation, he was quick to jump into the blaming bandwagon saying 'I didn't check the product' and 'It's been 2 weeks' (well that's not the point, the point is you sold me a broken product and didn't even bother really offer help. Just advise for everyone in the future, if you have any issue there, don't bother going to the manager office, but rather publish your grievance here and on Customer Service complains (hopefully should be more effective). Sad, they never change.

If you have an Abu Dhabi plate car, you are able to do your car testing over here. Once done, you can renew your car registration online either on ADPolice or MOI website. Save you the trouble from driving down to Abu Dhabi.

This place is just an amazing example of efficiency. Yes, sometimes it does get busy, and the lines for the testing are quite long. But if you catch a good time slot, you can be in and out of here in 15 minutes. The attending staff inside the office are really courteous and very quick. One of the best members of staff is an Emirati lady called Soraya Ahmed. Year after year, she does a fantastic job, is proactive, and always has a smile. Ms Ahmed is really a great example of gold-standard customer service. Congratulations to the management of this place – it really is beginning-to-end great customer service.

Very slow service, i made the comprehancive test it took about 2hours and a half. I was given a token but the responsible employee was not there he was in the kitchen eating.this means that after the test finished i also stayed 1hour for the concerned staff to come and give me the report.

3) Information Desk: Few staffs are rude, may not give proper information. May be they need to be trained better

4) Insurance desk: Avoid if possible, No token, like a fish market and poor customer service and deals. Suggest you do it yourself via online channels before walk-in

5) Registration Counter: Staff was friendly and quick service. Token to be taken from Information Desk. Pay registation fees and fines, hand over old Mulkiya and old plates here, if needed.

6) Plate collection counter: If plate printing required, hand over the registration paper and collect new plates.printing charges: 5.5 AED, waiting time: 10-15 min

7) Mulikya collection counter: quick service and you are done.

8) There is plate fixing service outside the building, charge you around 15 AED

Did everything online only changing number plate took 3 hours. Amazing. Staff behavior is zero.

One of the slowest service in the country, when ever I go I feel like they don’t want to work, serving one customer and having 1 cup of tea and again and again same way, they are just lazy and doesn’t care about their customers! I can suggest MUMAYAZ in al barsha mall which is 5 mins away but if you go there you will save your whole day! They are fast and without any headache! Everything they have including insurance!

It was great experience here. Very quick and fast service. I entered at 08: 00 PM and passing completed and went out at 08: 40 PM after passing and payment for passing.

Too much time taking for full pass. Only one station for full pass and there was 5 cars in queue. I go at 7pm, got free after 11.

No traffic, quick service but they are so picky and will make the test fail for simple things like small faded paint or polishing headlight while for the same condition the car will pass the test in another branches of tasjeel

Renewing my driving license / what a smooth service, super helpful friendly staff especially the lady who was at counter 7. They even offer you free coffee, water even they have a menu for it. Super fast also. I got my new license less then 5 min.
The fee is little bit high but the service what they provide I think cover it all.

I went for inspection and renewal around 7: 30 AM. Was in and out within 30 minutes. Good service all around.

This place is a compound of a lot of facilities and cars related services.

RTA Al Barsha is the best place to get your car inspected properly. Their standard are very high so if you are buying a used car I recommend you to get through the inspection test here in Tasjeel Al Barsha. On the other hand if you want to renew your registration avoid bring it here specially if your car a bit old or have any minor issue because it will not pass through.

Every thing is available here. More than one insurance broker, Salik, Companies and individual car registrations.
Autopro is available and it provides lots of services e.g oil change, mechanical repairs, tire repairs and auto detailing.

Mosque, Macdonalds, a lot of parking spots, women’s parking spaces and VIP services all available here.

The waiting time for inspection is long at rush hours in the afternoon everyday and it takes only 15 minutes for inspection process.

It is open on Friday from 4pm till 12am.

Absolute horror. Giving incorrect information about mulkya extension, car i spection slow unefficient, horrible.

Very professional staff, quick service, you can just drop your car for test and go to sit inside where your number will be called immediately after the test is done, you will be handed over your car key and the old registration card, insurance brokers are available there too so you can just get the insurance on spot, once you are done with the car test and insurance you can proceed to the smart kiosk over there to complete your car registration in laterally less than 1 minute. Good job and amazing service, keep it up.

3 and a half hours for comprehensive check and valuation certificate. That is too long. 2 stars because the service staff were pleasant to deal with despite having too much to do.

One of my car plate lights was not working so they failed me. I wonder if that light will affect the safety of others!

This is an one stop shop to get everything you need to renew your vehicle license. They have car inspection, insurance providers, all what you need to get your new license. Once I had some old tyres and they failed me the technical test asking for new tyres and I just went to AutoPro tyres shop and replaced the tyres. Remember to call another shop and compare prices and ask for discount because this is what I did and saved a lot. Make sure your car is not having any major dents or damages otherwise they will fail it in the technical test. On a normal day it usually takes an hour or less. It is recommended to have your insurance with you as well.

All where very nicely behaved and did there's job with beauty.the number plate guy may need a break some times
