For years, I have struggled with spinal issues that have weighed heavily on my daily life. The lumbar epidural block injection has been a transformative experience for me. It feels as if a great burden has been gently lifted from my spine, allowing me to regain a sense of freedom and comfort that I haven't experienced in a long time.

I was in emergency, doc informed to make blood test, as per the nurse instructions, once my lab test result came out, doc will give me a call to discuss. I called the emergency and they said doc will give me a call, days passed i didn’t receive any call. Again, i called the emergency to follow up, again i was informed that doc will give me a call.what is this? !? If somebody needed a medication with regards to the condition showed from the blood test, and really an emergency situation, who need to take responsibility? Poor service!

A horrible service! We’ve been waiting for 2 hours for our turn, and people who came after us and made a registration later, came to doctor before us. Receptionists even didn’t apologize or explained us why we were been waiting for so long!

What is the use of booking appointment when the availability is keep on changing and also the call center is horrible as committed to come on time, and on time but the front desk been on line waiting and just keep on changing the schedule.

You should value people time and improve the service

Biggest and finest hospital in RAK. All the facilities available here.well maintained atmosphere, well trained staffs. Good doctors.neat and clean environment.

Had a recent appointment here; I was seen really quickly and Dr Tasmia was really helpful, understanding and supportive of why I was there. Everything went smoothly. My only issue was on this day (around noon) it took over an hour of waiting for a blood test to be taken. There were many people waiting at the same time and many were grumbling about the same issue. The blood sample room is tiny in the area so maybe this could be looked at for future

One of the best hospital in Ras Al khaima. I have been regularly visiting Dr. Vidya Madhusudhanan Shendre (Gyneacologist) for seven months. As her patient, I aasure you that she never disappoint you because such a good service she is giving to her patients in a very comfortable and peaceful way. In fact I get mental relief when I discuss my confusions and anxiety with her regarding the pregnancy. I have also visited Dr. Shravan Mukhesh in emergency department in some emergency situations. Just like Dr. Vidya he is also the best doctor i have ever consulted. He explains and deal the case of patients without making it complicated.

I had a great experience at RAK Hospital especially with Dr. Rashmi Kiran Fernandes and her staff nurse, Mylene.as well as the staff from the VIP ward, Nurse Geo! The facility was 100%! Top notch! Highly recommended!

I have visited RAK hospital emergency department to consult Dr. Shravan Mukesh. His services is very satisfying. Doctor explained everything without making me panic. Dealing with a patient in the way he wants was the best quality I have seen in the doctor.

I tried the physiotherapy with Ajina, she is the best I dealt with her 3 years back for my hand and now again for my back, in both situations she knows what to do and what gives comfort to the costumer; not only that; she advised me on what is good to do at home as well. The receptionist and the guy at the registration are really nice people and they always try to help. Loved the center and definitely it will always be my first choice

Dr. Tinku Jose has been my doctor for back pain surgery. I was suffered from low back pain and it affected my mobility and urinary retention. However, surgery was done and I am now almost pain-free and my mobility, urine have improved. Dr. Tinku is the surgeon to consult in RAK Hospital if you have any neurological problems. I will always be grateful for his care, kindness, and professionalism.and many thanks to nurses staff in Rak hospital.
The Rak hospital is excellent and professional and deserves 5 stars.

They Never answer the phone. Under staffed. Not very professional for a hospital that claims to be Swiss. The PCR testing has gone from decent to one of the worst I’ve experienced since they moved location. 2 hours to get a swab. Well over a year into the pandemic and the service is worse that ever. There is better service in Bangladesh. One swab room for men and one for woman. Despite men outnumbering woman by about 10/1 - ridiculous. Who manages this place? Patrick from Spongebob? Datty out

This hospital has completely lost its customer service over a few years. There is poor interdepartmental communication. The insurance department is absolutely careless. My Son was born there recently in the month of MAY and we scheduled him for circumcision. As he was unwell we rescheduled the appointment. To our surprise, when we visited the hospital for the procedure we were told that the approval from the insurance was not valid and asked us to pay for it when the Insurance approval was valid till the 16th of June.
It was disappointing for us as we were never informed by the hospital about it. No customer support on duty. It took us more than 2 hours to reach out to the customer service executive who could not help us either. The Insurance guy at the counter shouted at us and said it is the fault of the Nurse who arranged the appointment.
Finally, we end up paying cash for the procedure. We have faced the same issue at the time of my delivery.
They do not care about the patient and poorly handle insurance claims. All the staff looks unhappy and absolutely no care towards the patient/attendant. Never recommend this hospital to anyone again.

The tenant for COVID test has a very bad staff bad customer service very long time waiting and standing on ur feet in very long queue staff and are not kind or welcoming the drive thru pcr is Useless if u stand out there for an hour no one comes for u and they charge u 150aed for the bad service

Dr. Sweta and Dr. Elhaydi are great doctors. They are supportive and they do explain well your needs and my diagnosis. Support system are given by these great doctor. Thanks also to the amazing nurses especially to Ate G who never failed to assists you and support you if you I need help. Amazing people.

Where to start! I could write a book about this place. Unfortunately I have been to this hospital more than 100 times, where I have spent close to 100 hours in reception!
I recently did a surgery there, over 3 months ago now. Negligence and incompetence lead to an infection. I'm left with a bigger problem now than I started with. Not healed after 14 weeks. Its cost me over 30k. Plus not being able to walk for most of those 14 weeks. Trying to find an alternative hospital now to fix the problems resulting from the surgery!

This generic comment you post after each complaint is quite annoying as well. I certainly don't want to talk to one of your representatives unless they want to talk about reimbursing me. I'm just trying to forget this nightmare experience which has caused me a lot of stress and depression from not being able to walk or exercise for so long as well as the financial loss. Even now I have to rethink my summer vacation because I can't do any physical activities. I already had to cancel one vacation in April. Luckily my main job have allowed me to work from home, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to perform my work duties.

If a sign in a public area states”please download the RAK Hospital App to avoid signing and please register before visiting the reception! Why would reception then say they don’t know what I’m talking and refuse to advice? ! I get they have a job to do, who doesn’t. But we’re not animals on a slaughter line, we’re checking our health and measures are red tape in some areas and gray in others!

My recommendation is to avoid placing sign posts around if it’s not required! It’s confusing and it’s time consuming filling in the app to later be told “what, no need! ” Seriously!

Wait time was too long. I had an appointment for 3: 30pm and after 40mins I still haven't seen the doctor.

The reception process is the worst I have ever seen. There are more number of staff than patients but they are lazy. To receive a medical report to my email address, I had to wait hours and hours despite i called them two times. They say, we will send it but when? Some staff are very rude.

للاسف، توجهت لمستشفى راك.
و لا احد موجود يشرح لك طريقة فرز المرضى.
بس ادفع و انتظر دورك و افحص و اطلع و انت ما عارف شي.
على كاونتر الدفع طلبت احد يشرح شو اليتهم و نظامهم في التعامل في ازمة كورونا قبل ان ادفع.
طلب موظف صومالي الانتظار في الطابور فقط لمجرد توجيه الاسئلة.
حتى الموظف ما عرف بنفسه و وظيفته و يمكن ان يكون عامل نظافة.

الناس ضايعين و عندهم اسئلة و واقفين في الشمس.
و هم يالسين في الكارافانات المبردة.
كما لو كنت في دولة منكوبة.

بدون مبالغة، حتى اسواق الغنم لها نظام احسن.

I have read and heard many negative comments and stories about RAK Hospital.

It lacks a lot to be called hospital, and staff there to be health care provider.

I went there just to test for corona to enter Abu Dhabi.
I had no fever or other problems.
The first thing they asked for is MONEY.
I had questions about triage, screening, segregation of patients, waiting,
areas and the flow pf patients in Corona Pandemic but i did not get answers.
I found only nurses who learned only 1 word in their nursing college that is MONEY.and Somalian staff hiding ID, interrupting us during our conversation.and who could be just cleaning staff.
People not introducing themselves, their positions, interfering with everything.we have been in many private hospital, but this is not recommended.
Money before treatment & service?
Is it Massage centre? !

Staff were wearing full PPE and setting in air conditioned caravans while people are standing in queue in unshed area for payment.

Only sister Suzana voluntarily helped me later in the process of registration and explained to me the flow chart of symptomatic & asymptomatic patients. Thanks to her.

There is problem from top of pyramid down to bottom.
There are links missed in the care of patients.staff have no specific roles and no attitudes or communication skills
staff take roles of others.

Generally, not recommended, try nearby Saqr hospital even for emergency condition.

No respect of appointment timing, staff is always misleading. I would recommend this hospital if you have cough and fever only, never go with this hospital for other diseases, better look for a specialized hospitals specially for gynacology, it's completely a mess.

Physiology dept is a joke! Good thing it’s covered by insurance. They put electrodes, leave them on for 20 mins, they leave u in the room alone, they come back, maybe do 5 min massage or ultrasound and you’re on your way. It’s like a factory outlet. Shameful!

Highly Recommended! One of the best hospitals in UAE. I never received such outstanding service in dubai or sharjah hospitals even. They charge high but serve with quality and intelligence. Thumbsup to the emergency team, who gave me full attention till i was relieved from pain. Thank you!

Best Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah. The doctors, nursing staff and the management surely keeping it upto the mark.

I was in the hospital for a small surgery couple of days back, the way staff and doctor took care of me was super amazing. Thanks to Dr. Madhusudan, for taking special care and a successful surgery.

Lastly but not the least, credit goes to the management and nursing staff for the best of the services and excellent paitent care.

Dreadful place. Tourists in RAK arrived with a child with fever. After an initial check they asked us if we live in UAE and we denied but said we are privately insured. They send us away saying they only treat residents even if you pay cash. First you should always help, second they could have asked at arrival and not let us wait first

Had a worst experience in RAK hospital emergency. I rush to hospital for my 1 year old son who fell down and badly hit on ground. He was bleeding from nose. Hospital staff 1st ask me to wait and after 10 to 15 min a Dr. Came and ask we will take Xray. Then i waited for xray about 20 min later i ask staff why you are not taking HE replied sir if you want to do quickly you have to submit AED 1500 now or else wait for insurance approval. After another 20 min wait they took xray and again a long wait started and nobody came to attend my son. I rush to Dr. Room and begged him to treat my son and Dr. Replied I have heart attack patient and other serious patients as well i cant leave them for your son. These are the words a father never wanted to listen any how i waited Dr. Didnt come to check. After 20 min a went to Dr. Room and force him to check my son and he checked and then prescribe a treatment. It took me around 2 hrs to get emergency treatment.

Of the worst hospitals that have entered. Every doctor gives you a medicine on the mood and says that the doctor who accepted by mistake is in the hospital scourge. Are we test mice? Doctor or Administrator Do you accept this for your family? I went to 3 doctors of the same specialty and the same hospital and each of them tells me the doctor who was behind me wrong and gave me a new medicine

We call The room cleaner from 9: 30 no one came in VIP room.also till 1: 30 the no lunch.one thing more we call them from morning for service no one in the reception

Really bad service.dont go there unless you really have to.

And then after I had to wait for the doctor to show up.

No professional treatment no one apologized for this delay.

I got to meet Dr. Amal (endocrinologist), Dr. Preethi, (dermatologist), Dr. Anup (general surgeon), & Dr. Imtiyaz (general surgeon) and I found them all EXCELLENT. And about the nurses, they all are so sweet. Worst experience was in the emergency department where it was too crowded and I had to wait for so long, otherwise the doctor there did a great job and he managed the case well.

Cardiology, Neurology and Diabetes departments are fine. It was for my friend and according to him he was happy under those departments I mentioned.
They are considered to be a 5 star facilitated hospital which means a luxury hospital. If you don't have a premium Insurance card then I won't recommend here mainly because it's really expensive. That's where the star lost.
They have all the premium facilities including complementary arabic coffee, Water etc. Live Piano like in a luxury hotel lobby. Costa cafe attached to the lobby.
There are couple of negative reviews I noticed. But personally I don't have such experience. Its completely department based. So I suggest you have small research on that particular department you wish to go.

Very bad. Inexperienced and very lethargic staffs. Hospital for showcase. Dont go to this hospital especially for ortho or nuero. Mindless morons

Als Tourist musste mein Vater ins Krankenhaus. Auf der Intensivstation haben wir nur positive Erfahrungen gemacht. Das Personal war immer anwesend, aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Die Medikamentenwahl und Ausstattung kommt unserem Standard gleich. Wir können das RAK hospital anderen Touristen empfehlen!

I have visited Rak hospital alot of times.
Very friendly staff and service has been satisfactory so far. Only waiting time is something which I find extremely difficult especially when you are really sick.

Do not go to this hospital for any mental health issues. The psychologist and psychiatrist I saw here were dangerously unskilled in clinical analysis and med evaluation. American center in Dubai was the best if u need western-standard mental health

Fantastic hospital with very helpful staff. Recommended. Our baby daughter was born here, and the team were amazing. A great experience right the way through the pregnancy and the birth. Now she is 1 year old.

Worst hospital ever. Pauline Gynecologist clinic that she calls herself a "Doctor" was very very rude to us with her attitude and with the 2 minutes treatment session time. She didn't answer our questions that she don't have the time to explain. She made the sonar test in less than minute and didnt say a word about the baby. It's ridiculously Unbearable. She has rude responses and she don't know anything about treatment or patient care.

THE Hospital didn't do anything about that and the management didn't even apologized to us. Not recommended at all. And will never visit

I just very upset with doctor i think she is arabic lady in emergency i have stomach pain she just ask me you have stomach pain then they give 2 injection thats it.then payment she didn't give me any advice what i wil eat now is 3rd day stil i have pain because.staf is good

Waiting for Dr. Hamam Ali since 55 min. Our appointment is 2 pm on 26 Nov.we are here since 01: 30 pm. Now, it is 02: 25 pm and still waiting. This is ridiculous. If the patient is late, they blame him, when doctor is late, who blames him? ! What is the point of giving appointments? ! Are we free, do we not have other appointments? ! Very unprofessional and cannot trust their silly appointments again. 2 patients came after us, they went inside doctor’s room before us!

I visited the hospital for a dental appointment, the Dr was Dr. Padma Gandhi. To be honest she is the best dental I have ever seen. She is very kind and helpful. I feel comfortable with her because I didn't feel any pain. God bless her.

Financial gain before Patient care! Be very careful with their diagnosis & their sheer willingness to over state the urgency. Both my wife & i have had very unprofessional care at this hospital. I agree with most of the posts that the Nurses are well below the level needed. The first thing they always ask for is your insurance card so they can run up a bill. Very agressive in pushing for procedures & putting in for over night stays for very minor 30-40 min outpatient cases.
Great building & facility, but unfortunate that the medical professionals let it all down. If i could i would not even give it a star rating. Obstetrics & Gynecology is a particular worry for any woman thinking of using this hospital. For your own sake get second opinions if you do go here. This is a for profit hospital & your care comes far behind that. We have since questioned a certain doctor in the Gynecology department as to her resoning for carrying out a medical procedure on my wife in a fully functioning OR under full GA, with an 11 hour stay in the hospital. The WHO state that the procedure is carried out using local anesthesia & takes 5-10 mins. She operated for 45 mins & kept my wife under GA for 55 mins. The results then came back all clear showing no medical issues. When questioned she stated that my wife had healed herself before the procedure, thus admitting that she carried out an unnecessary medical procedure! She was very aggressive & insulting towards us & said we should have thanked her for doing such a good job! We complained to the hospital about many issues including the above, but they simply brushed it aside & said there was no wrong doing on her or the hospitals behalf. We have since taken the case to the MOH UAE. I urge anyone that has had such shocking experiences to take it to the MOH immediately. This will hopefully bring a change to the managment of the hospital & get the dangerous practitioners removed for the safety of the general population living in RAK. Dangerous, dangerous place abusing their status as health care professionals to harvest money by using fear tactics! Also be very careful of the Orthopedic section of the hospital.not interested in curing problems.
